CSF is attempting a meaningful initiative to explore the most impactful ways to empower teachers in advancing the NIPUN Bharat program. We are preparing for a two-year intervention, uniquely integrating online and offline support to deliver direct, hands-on coaching for educators. We warmly welcome dedicated, highly skilled, and passionate professionals to join this pilot project, aiming to serve 200 teachers and expand its reach in the next academic year.

The experts will collaborate closely with a cohort of 50-60 teachers, playing a direct role in the development and design of academic resources and delivering video-based coaching sessions.


Key Responsibilities 


  • Provide ongoing coaching to government school teachers on pedagogy, classroom management, and student engagement
  • Design, develop, and refine curriculum materials aligned with national and state educational standards for primary grades.
  • Develop engaging and age-appropriate teaching resources, including lesson plans, worksheets, activity guides, and multimedia content.
  • Conduct professional development workshops and training sessions for teachers to implement new resources and teaching strategies effectively
  • Track and document the progress of teachers and students as a result of coaching interventions.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations to provide constructive feedback and support to teachers in their instructional practices.
  • Use data and assessments to evaluate the impact of coaching on student learning outcomes.
  • Assist teachers in analysing student performance data to inform instruction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with educational stakeholders, including government officials, school administrators, and community organisations, to align resources with school improvement plans.


Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred (in education, development studies, public policy, and social sciences) 
  • 9 to 15 years of work experience in the education sector demonstrating knowledge of teacher professional development, curriculum development, assessment and content creation.
  • Experience with primary-grade classroom teaching, academic coaching, mentoring, or professional development for educators is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of primary education pedagogy and child development principles.
  • Practical academic expertise in foundational literacy and numeracy, teacher training, classroom observations, instructional coaching, and student assessments within government or low-income schools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate resources and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and accessible educational materials.
