CSF supports multiple central and state governments agencies to plan, design and implement large scale education reform initiatives. This involves the co-creation and implementation of comprehensive project plans, providing technical support in the areas of project planning, and coordinating with other agencies involved in the implementation of a program. This demands efficient management of multiple, ambiguous work-streams with tight deadlines, and consistent engagement with government officials at various levels of seniority. 


Based out of New Delhi, the Senior Project Lead (SPL) will play an important role in ensuring that ambitious reform initiatives are implemented in an efficient and effective manner, in partnership with Central Government and its agencies. The SPL will be expected to adapt to ambiguous circumstances, effectively respond to government requests, and strengthen CSF’s strategic goals.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Building and maintaining relations with key government officials and other relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem
  • Co-develop and operationalize project plans and implementation programs for large scale education reform programs 
  • Engage and coordinate with multiple government and non-government agencies (NGO, NPOs and multilaterals), as part of different project implementation initiatives 
  • Create project reports, pitch decks and concept notes to support different Government stakeholders 
  • Engage and onboard existing and new CSF vendors for seamless and efficient execution of project priorities 
  • Providing regular updates to CSF management on progress, insights, opportunities and areas for course correction


Key Qualifications, Skills and Abilities


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields: including management, economics, social sciences, and public policy
  • 10 + years of work experience with managerial responsibilities, demonstrating superb project delivery and team leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working with government on implementing complex projects
  • Ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and represent CSF to external audiences
  • Experience in managing teams with multiple members
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, and an ability to be able to set priorities, plan projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience in working with government stakeholders

Compensation

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
